Yoga at Progressive Fitness emphasizes the restorative, healing properties of “present mind” or mind connected to movement. Poses are executed in a moderate to quick paced Vinyasa flow, with the breath dictating the tempo. Program Director Jennifer Opaka created sequences that allow the body to gradually build towards more balance and stability. You will also feel a sense of relaxation in the poses as you stretch and lengthen your muscles.
Studio Policies All sessions are 55 minutes, unless otherwise noted and may be taught in a circuit, requiring you to move from one exercise to another after in 1-3 minute sets. Please be sure to bring a small towel, and water to stay hydrated. Prepaid sessions are transferable but not refundable. Any changes or cancellations must be made 24 hours before the appointment to avoid being charged for the session. No Exceptions. Standing appointments will be cancelled after three missed appointments.
