Director & Owner Jennifer Opaka teaches with a blend of strength conditioning and core seasoned with pilates techniques and yoga stretching for a well balanced and highly effective program. Our clients do not know what they are doing may be a Pilate’s move or core strength move they know that they are simply getting the best work out ever. Jennifer has been in the fitness industry for 20 years training and teaching clients, featured in Self Magazine, taught at San Diego State University as an Instructor for the Personal Training Certificate Program and directed Personal Training and Group Exercise as Fitness & Manager for Gold’s Gym for 10 years.

Spring into Fitness: New Booking Policies, Packages and Schedules

Spring is one of our favorite seasons! It’s because change and progression are at the core of our programming philosophy; we know the best way to train the muscle is to alter the routine; this helps it to perform at its best. In the spirit of spring’s renewal we have made a few tweaks to a few things, all for the benefit of those who enjoy training at Progressive Fitness.
With the jump start for fitness season coming a bit later this year (March through May), there have been and will continue to be a lot of wonderful new faces in the groups training sessions. We want to be sure you are able to save a “spot” on your favorite days. To accommodate everyone during this transition, we have updated and will be utilizing our online registration system, with each session allowing for 10 participants. We strongly encourage you to go online and book your classes in advance. In case you have never tried, here is how it works:
1.      Go to
2.      Click on the schedule section and go to “Register for classes”
3.      Register with the MindBody Online system (purchase a package if necessary).
4.      Review schedule, and book!
